Peony Wreath Tiger Ornament, Korean Folk Art Christmas Ornament
A smiling Korean tiger peeks out of a wreath of red peonies and pine, our Korean twist on a Christmas wreath. Peonies stand for wealth and happiness in Korean art, and pine for long life.
Our tiger comes from Korean folk painting (minhwa), where the tiger is a guardian that keeps bad luck away and brings good fortune into the home. We draw him in our own playful style at Seoul Bap, a sister-run Korean restaurant in Carson, California, to share a little Korean culture with your tree.
