Lotus Wreath Tiger Ornament, Korean Folk Art Christmas Ornament
A happy Korean tiger peeks out of a wreath of pink lotus flowers and leaves. In Korean art the lotus stands for purity and new beginnings, since it blooms clean out of muddy water.
In Korean folk painting (minhwa), the tiger is a guardian that keeps bad luck away and brings good fortune into the home. We draw our tiger in a playful, modern minhwa style to share a little Korean culture with your tree.
